The project for the Uniview HIC8581 Panoramic Camera started in October 2017 in Torino and was completed in August 2018 in Hangzhou. Throughout the design process, the team faced challenges in hardware and software design for the four-lens stitching, as well as ensuring accuracy and anti-vibration capabilities for high-point monitoring.

The Uniview HIC8581 Panoramic Camera has received recognition for its exceptional design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Security, Safety, and Surveillance Products Design category in 2019. This award acknowledges the camera's practicality, innovation, and adherence to professional and industrial requirements.
